Born out of the simple idea to be able to play anywhere and at any time gave rise to Central Pennsylvania's indie-folk group, Rivers. Brought together and baptized by the mighty Susquehanna, and with just simple acoustic instruments, their dynamic amasses an eclectic inundation of sound. With Joe Schaefer (bass) and Vincent Yarnell (guitar and banjo), they spatter forth an electrifying array of technical nuance and heavy-thumping beats worthy to be remembered. Rivers' style is a wash of genres that defies classification and leaves audiences thirsty for more. Now this folk slaps.
