Howard's Half Marathon/5K Run Festival is a charity event raising money for the Allegany County Animal Shelter, a municipal no-kill shelter located in Cumberland, MD and serving the surrounding area. Two events are featured - a half-marathon and a 5K race. Both courses are out and back format. Registration for each event begins on March 1, 2026. All participant registration fees are donated to the charity organization. Due to the nature of this event, there is no refund of registration fees.
